West Bering Sea Zone

Catching periods for specialized trawl fishery on commercial quotas are limited in the Fishing Rules:

• Jan 1 - Feb 30

• May 16 - Dec 31

Catching period for coastal fishing (about 1% of TAC) is not specified in the Fishing Rules, but usually harvesting takes place during winter period.

The zone is limited by the line running from the point 60 ° 04 'N 170 ° 00 'E on the Bering Sea coast of the Russian Federation to the point 64 ° 45 'N 175 ° 00 'W, then south to the point 62 ° 43'00 N 175 ° 00 'W, and then through the points:

Catching period for coastal and Danish seiner fisheries (about 40% of TAC) is not specified in the Fishing Rules, but usually harvesting takes place during summer-autumn period.

The subzone is limited by the line running from the point 56 ° 00 'N 163 ° 00 'E on the east coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula to the point 60 ° 04 'N 170 ° 00 'E, then due south to 56 ° 00' N and then west to the starting point.

Petropavlovsk-Komandorsk Subzone

Catching periods for specialized trawl fishery on commercial quotas are limited in the Fishing Rules:
